Rock Band

Perhaps a day late on this one, but we played Rock Band for a friend’s birthday party and it was a blast. I am happy to have not tried the drums – not actually singing into the mic (although I did not hesistate to be the loud singer in the crowd) but the game was so far my favorite party video game. The only criticism I would have is that this game DEFINITLY warrants a projector.

  1. It’s true– of the 4 times that I’ve played the game, 2 of those times we’ve projected onto a wall, and it has been much better.

What about a rear projection, plus a front screen with the band facing the other way? (a la Playing at Playing Guitar) That would up the ante on band performance!

Blame my small living room– who would have thought a giant white projection wall would become such a staple of home entertainment systems πŸ˜€
